"As a painter prepares a canvas or a musician tunes his instrument, so must an actor prepare to create art."

Based on her studies with Sonia Moore of The American Stanislavski Theater, with Sharon Chatten of The Actors Studio in NYC, and her work as a professional actor in Theater and Film, Elizabeth teaches students the following in her classes: A Cold Reading technique, using the five W's to prepare for a cold reading, or to set up an Improvisation; The Fourth Wall; Relaxation and Sense memory exercises; Building a character from the inside out, and Monologue and/or Scene Study.

"Stepping out of your Comfort Zone"

Do you have what it takes to step out of your comfort zone and truly become another charactor? Try this excercise. Go do something (legal) you would never in a million years do. for 3 hours, try your hand at being a Washington Square bellydancer, a homeless person, a UFO enthusiast recruiting others to follow, a corner poet. A barfly... you get the idea! I cant wait to see what you all come up with!
